Gum Arabic is the binder for watercolour. It is also used as a medium to help keep diluted watercolours from sinking below absorbent surfaces.
Increases gloss and transparency. Controls the spread of wet colour. Slows drying time. Mix sparingly with an individual colour or add to mixing water to affect all colours. Wash brushes with water.
